Debs looked down at her shoes and pulled a
face. It would take ages to dry them out. Her feet made a sound as she walked
and she could feel some between her toes. "I wish I'd never listened to Dad," she
muttered. "He said the grass would be dry by now. I'm and fed up and grumpy
and -"
Debs suddenly screamed. A lorry had driven past
and her as it through a puddle.
She was still thinking of horrible things that she would like to do to the driver
when she saw that the road was .
The lorry had tried to avoid the but had skidded into
a wall. Dozens of boxes had fallen off the back and landed in the water. The driver had
reached into one of the boxes and was

Debs couldn't help howling with laughter. She
